Located in a prime position in Regard-sur-le-Fleuve park in Sorel-Tracy, the Biophare offers exhibitions, activities, cultural events, guided tours and a boat excursion that allow you to discover, in a surprising and original way, the rich heritage of the Lake Saint-Pierre region. From one room to another, visitors are transported into a fascinating universe that juxtaposes nature and culture.

The three-hour boat excursion to the Lake Saint-Pierre Archipelago aboard the Randonnée nature allows you to learn more about the richness of the territory.

In 2000, UNESCO recognized the territory as the Lake Saint-Pierre Biosphere Reserve due to its high biodiversity and the efforts made by communities to preserve this unique ecosystem. (Website available in French only).
